7-day birding adventure through Malagufuk and Waigeo, two incredible wildlife destinations in Papua. In Malagufuk, we explore the lowland rainforest in search of five spectacular Bird of Paradise species: Lesser Bird of Paradise, King Bird of Paradise, Twelve wired Bird of Paradise, Magnificent Bird of Paradise, and Magnificent Riflebird. Along the way, we can also encounter parrots, hornbills, pigeons, doves, kingfishers, and many other rainforest birds.

After Malagufuk, we continue to Waigeo, where the adventure takes us into another unique habitat. Here we search for two iconic species, the Red Bird of Paradise and Wilson’s Bird of Paradise. Exploring the forest with an experienced local guide gives us the opportunity to enjoy the birds, landscapes, and fascinating wildlife of Raja Ampat while experiencing the forest at a relaxed pace.
