We begin at Klalik Eco Village, exploring the surrounding forest during the day before heading out on night walks. Searching after dark adds a completely different experience, as the forest comes alive with frogs, geckos, insects, and other nocturnal wildlife.

Next, we continue to Klaimis, exploring different habitats and carefully checking branches, vines, and dense vegetation for Green Tree Pythons. Patient searching and local knowledge are key, because finding these elusive snakes in their natural habitat is never guaranteed but every encounter makes the effort worthwhile.

Our final destination is Waigeo, where the adventure continues through the remarkable forests of Raja Ampat.
